The agreement expands the presence of AD Ports Logistics in the pharmaceutical sector

AD Ports Logistics (ADPL) and Acino, a Swiss pharmaceutical company, have signed an agreement under which ADPL Acino will provide freight forwarding services, including sea and air transport, in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Under the terms of the agreement, ADPL will use its existing pharmaceutical cold chain capabilities to ship drugs from Acino manufacturing centers to markets in the MENA region. Under the terms of the agreement, the scope of forwarding services provided includes first-mile transportation, seaport and airport loading, customs clearance and last-mile logistics.

Since its inception in 2020, ADPL has worked with several international logistics companies to develop integrated pharmaceutical supply chains. suitable for transporting products at storage temperatures from -80 °C to +25 °C.
