Reliance-backed warehouse automation company Addverb Technologies opens a new software development center

Reliance Retail-backed Addverb Technologies, a manufacturer of autonomous robots for intralogistics operations, has opened a new software development center in Noida to develop state-of-the-art enterprise software solutions for the company’s robotics and warehouse automation operations.

The new center will support Addverb’s growing portfolio of robotics and automation solutions to provide innovative warehouse automation and smart material handling solutions. The company’s software solutions are designed to help customers streamline operations, reduce costs and increase productivity.

The Company currently has a warehouse robot manufacturing and R&D facility in Noida and is in the process of building a second, expanded capacity manufacturing facility in the greater Noida area, which will employ approximately 5,000 highly skilled employees.

“This new facility is a testament to our market reach and growth not only in India but also in the US and Europe. The SDC will allow us to accelerate our software development efforts and deliver even more value to our customers,” said Sangeet Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Addverb Technologies.

In July 2021, the retail arm of Reliance Industries Ltd acquired a 55% stake in the domestic developer of autonomous robots for an investment of US$132 million.
