PSA expands Cargo Solutions network in Turkey by acquiring Alisan Logistics

PSA International Pte Ltd (“PSA”), through its wholly owned subsidiary PSA-BDP Turkey Supply Chain Solutions Pte Ltd, has signed an agreement to acquire 75% of the shares in privately held ALISAN Logistics AS (“ALISAN”). ALISAN is a logistics company based in Türkiye, engaged in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Chemical, Automotive and Agribusiness. Upon completion of the transaction, ALISAN will be grouped under the auspices of PSA’s Cargo Solutions arm, PSA BDP.

Tan Chong Meng, CEO of PSA Group, said: “PSA Group has been actively working with its stakeholders to provide logistics and supply chain solutions beyond the port. We firmly believe in Türkiye’s long-term growth potential and this investment reaffirms our strategic focus on expanding PSA’s network and capabilities to serve cargo owners. Leveraging the combined and complementary strengths of PSA BDP and ALISAN, we will offer our partners and customers comprehensive end-to-end contract logistics and transportation service offerings in Türkiye and beyond, bringing us closer to our mission of a smoother, more resilient and enable more sustainable trade.”

Banu Damla Alisan, Vice President of the ALISAN Board, said: “Today we are taking our biggest step forward in our 38-year (family) company history. This acquisition is the best fit for both companies and ALISAN in particular as it represents the realization of our future growth strategy. It is a new chapter that allows us to advance our services and operations on a much broader global scale and strengthen them for our clients. We used to be a world famous brand of Türkiye and now with the experience, knowledge and presence of PSA we are taking the next step to become a global player. I would also like to thank all of our employees who have contributed to the success of ALISAN since 1985, as well as our customers who have helped and supported us as we progress.”

Headquartered in Istanbul, ALISAN is a family-owned Turkish logistics service provider, where the owners play an active role in day-to-day operations. With more than 1,600 employees and 39 warehouse locations near chemical producers, ALISAN’s range of services includes (but is not limited to) international and domestic packaged distribution, bulk distribution of liquid and dry bulk materials, warehousing and value-added services (VA).

The synergy between the core values of both companies, commitment to excellence and enhanced capabilities will serve ALISAN well for further growth.
