KSH Distriparks is adding 40 trailers to its existing fleet to enter the lighter vehicle segment

KSH Distriparks, the Pune-based container logistics solutions provider, has announced the acquisition of 40 new trailers to break into the lighter vehicle segment and focus on increasing its trailer haulage share in the Pune region.

With the addition of new vehicles, the company’s total fleet now stands at 120 trailers.

Malcolm Dsouza, Chief Commercial Officer, KSH Distriparks, said the new trailers are GPS-enabled to provide real-time insight into container movements. “India’s container market is growing and we tend to increase our efficiencies and capabilities to capture a large market share and expand our business in and around Pune, Maharashtra in the ICD segment,” he added.

KSH Distriparks serves the transportation needs of multiple OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), shipping companies, CHAs (Customs Brokers) and freight forwarders. Among other things, the new vehicles will improve serviceability at hinterland locations in Ahmednagar, Supa, Aurangabad and Kolhapur.
