Kale Logistics presents sustainable solutions for airports

The IATA World Cargo Symposium 2023 and Transport Logistic Europe 2023 are two major international events where Kale Logistics Solutions (Kale) will showcase some of its innovative solutions and sustainable technology interventions as part of its ongoing commitment to innovation and the adoption of sustainable technologies in the logistics industry to facilitate trade.

Five environmental variables were ranked among the top 10 most serious risks in the World Economic Forum’s risk assessment, with failure to address climate change ranking first. The logistics industry must quickly adapt its practices to a new sustainable framework that involves all supply chain actors due to the urgency of taking action on climate change.

On that occasion, Amar More, CEO and co-founder of Kale Logistics Solutions said: “The logistics industry is increasingly aware of its environmental responsibilities and our CCS solutions are at play to ensure sustainable growth, safety and green practices for airports and ports. “

Kale’s Cargo Community Systems (CCS) promotes carbon neutral operations at over 100 airports and ports worldwide. In a recent study at a leading US airport, CCS saved 60,426 pounds of CO2 emissions by reducing truck wait times at terminal gates by 70%. The company would demonstrate these innovative solutions at events such as IATA World Cargo Symposium 2023 in Turkey, Istanbul, April 25-27, 2023 and Transport Logistic 2023 in Munich, Germany, May 09-12, 2023.

“We have proven technologies that the logistics world can adopt, by approximately 1500 trees annually per airport or port with paperless operations. We hope to demonstrate our longstanding commitment to innovation and technology leadership at IATA WCS and the Transport Logistic event and to drive the necessary change,” added More.
