FedEx offers logistics solutions for dangerous goods

Global logistics company FedEx Express has launched a one-stop-shop dangerous goods logistics solution for local businesses in Cebu.

As a subsidiary of FedEx Corporation, the company has noticed Cebu’s increasing demand for sophisticated services, and Cebuano customers can now benefit more conveniently from 1-9 numbers in shipping over 2,200 types of dangerous goods, including paints, perfumes, bleaches and electronic devices containing lithium batteries to the overseas market.

Dangerous goods are objects or substances which, if not handled properly, can pose a risk to health, safety or the environment.

According to the company, thanks to its logistics handling expertise, dangerous goods are securely packed, marked, labeled and appropriately documented, carefully handled and shipped by trained personnel to ensure they arrive safely at their destination.
