CU Lines upgrades China-India Subcontinent service

The new CIS will embark on its maiden voyage from Shanghai on July 17, increasing vessel capacity from 2,700 TEU to between 5,000 and 6,000 TEU. CULines and partners will use a total of six ships for this 42-day round trip service.

New ports of call for the enhanced CIS service are Shanghai, Ningbo and Karachi, providing fast and direct service from central China to the West Indies and Pakistan.

The new port rotation for the modernized CIS will be: Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Singapore – Port Kelang (Westport) – Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Karachi – Port Kelang (Westport) – Singapore – Haiphong – Shanghai.
