AD Ports Logistics and Acino sign forwarding contract

AD Ports Logistics (ADPL), a subsidiary of AD Ports Group, and Acino, a Swiss pharmaceutical company that develops and manufactures medicines, have signed an agreement under which ADPL will provide Acino with global freight forwarding services.

Services include sea and air transportation in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Through this agreement, ADPL intends to leverage its fully integrated and GDP-certified end-to-end pharmaceutical cold chain capabilities to ship essential medicines from Acino’s global source locations to markets in the MENA region.

Farook Al Zeer, Chairman of AD Ports Group Logistics Cluster, commented: “The agreement is a significant development opportunity for our Healthcare & Lifesciences business as it allows us to work with a leading global pharmaceutical manufacturer and demonstrate our capabilities as a pioneer more global trade and logistics.”
